Professor Young-Hee Kim of Materials Science & Engineering Dept. at Dong-A University, Korea seeks to recruit post-doctoral trainees, and graduate students for Ph.D. and Master's.

Professor Kim is working on metals, especially on corrosion resistance, wear resistance, light weight and color surface development. In detail, he is mainly working on nitriding, nitrocarburizing and oxynitrocarburizing to replace the current plating, painting, etc., in trying to develop eco-friendly process to improve iron and steel properties.

Graduate students will have a scholarship of 70% of the tuition. This year, 30% of the tuition for master’s are KRW 1,350,000(US$1,040) to be paid by students themselves. Also, there is another charge for one time admission fee of KRW 661,000 (US$510) for the graduate school.

In addition to the above scholarship, admitted students will be paid based on his/her performances in the amounts of US$600~750 monthly during masters and US$1,000~1,200 monthly during the doctorate. Postdocs will be paid US$1800~2,000 monthly.
