Graduate School of Business Administration
Established on February 4, 1969, the Graduate School of Business Administration aims to teach profound theory and applications of business administration so that students can cultivate personality and creativity required for top-level managerial leaders serving the nation. There are two programs of a regular master's course and the advanced management program course.

Twelve major fields which increasingly matter in the area of Business Management (Personnel Organization Management, Marketing, Accounting, Financial Management, Production and Operations Research Management, Tourism Management, Management Information Systems, International Trade Management, Economics, Public Administration, Process Control, Quality Control) belong to the Department of Business Administration.

Admission
|

Admission Period
|
The admission period shall be within 30 days before the beginning of each semester.
One who applies
for admission to the Graduate School of Business Administration
should be one of the following£º 1.
One who has a bachelor's degree from a four-year college. 2.
One who has completed a bachelor's course abroad and
whose qualifications are
approved by the DAU president. 3. One who is acknowledged
as having equivalent qualifications by the
Education Minister.

Admission Screening Methods
|
The screening for admission is composed of a written examination on one's major courses and an oral test.
Expelled or removed students can be readmitted only once within four years, while their credits already earned can be approved.

Terms of Study and Attendance, Credits, and Completion
|
|
Terms of Study and Attendance
|
The term of study for course completion shall be five semesters and the term of attendance cannot exceed seven semesters. The period of temporary withdrawal shall be excluded from the term of attendance.
One should earn at least 10 credits in general required courses, 10 credits in major required courses, and four credits in major elective courses.
The credits students earn each semester should not be in excess of 6 credits, with the exception of prerequisite courses.

Acceptable grades shall be C and higher,
but an academic average for all courses
should be 3.0 or higher for the screening
of completion.

Registration, Temporary Withdrawal, Reinstatement, Removal, and Permanent Withdrawal
|

Registration
|
One should complete registration within the given period by applying for courses and paying tuition fees.
|
|
|
|
1.
|
When one is unable to attend classes
for a month or more due to illness or other
reasons, one should submit a prescribed
form and get the dean's approval.
|
|
2.
|
The period of temporary withdrawal cannot
exceed two consecutive semesters and the
maximum period shall be four semesters.
|
|
3.
|
Temporary withdrawal owing to military
service shall be excluded from the temporary
withdrawal period.
|
|
4.
|
One who is allowed to withdraw during the registration days shall be exempt
from paying tuition fees.
|
|
|
|
One who wants reinstatement
should submit a prescribed form within 30 days of each
semester to get the dean's permission.
|
|
|
|
The following students shall be removed£º
|
|
1.
|
One who doesn't return to school without
a firm reason within 30 days after one's
withdrawal expires.
|
|
2.
|
One who fails to register within the
given period.
|
|
3.
|
One who is judged incapable of continuing one's study owing to illness or some
other reasons.
|
|
|
|
One who wants permanent
withdrawal should hand in a form to get the permission
of the dean and the DAU president.
|
Research Students
and Foreign Students
|
|
Research Students
|
As in the case
of admitting foreign students, permission for research
students to attend open lectures shall be given within
30 days of each semester.
Any foreign students
with certain qualifications can be admitted in addition
to the admission quota through the specific screening.

Degree
|
|
Degree Requirements
|
A master's degree
shall be conferred on those students who have obtained
enough credits and passed all the examinations: general
qualifying examinations, foreign language examinations,
the dissertation screening, and the oral test.
The Graduate School
of Business Administration provides a master's degree
of business administration (M.B.A.).
