An Admission Guide for foreign students

Admission
|
|
Admission Period
|
The time for admission shall
be within 30 days before the beginning of each semester.
An applicant for admission to
the Graduate School should meet one of the following conditions：
|
1.
|
Master's Degree and Integrated Programs
|
|
|
1) One who has or is scheduled to receive a bachelor's degree
at home or abroad.
2) One who is recognized as possessing equivalent
accomplishment by the Education Minister.
|
|
2.
|
Doctoral Degree Programs
|
|
|
1) One who has or will receive a master's
degree at home or
abroad.
2) One who is recognized as possessing equivalent
accomplishment or more by the Education
Minister.
3) One's major course in the doctoral programs should be
basically in line with that in the master's
programs.
Its screening shall be made by the Graduate
School
Committee via the professors of each department.

Admission Screening Methods
|
There are both a general screening
and a special screening. If necessary, additional methods can be
used：
1. The general screening consists of a written
examination and
an interview.
2. The special screening comprises an examination of personal
documents and an oral test.

Admission Period
|
The time for admission or readmission
shall be within the first 30 days after the beginning of each semester.
One who meets one of the following
requirements shall be admitted：
1. One who has earned or is scheduled to earn a bachelor's degree
from a four-year college.
2. One who has completed a bachelor's course abroad and whose
qualifications are approved by the DAU president.
3. One whose qualifications accord with the related laws.

Entrance Screening Methods
|
There are two kinds of screening:
a general screening and a special screening. The regulations for
these shall be specified elsewhere.
Expelled or removed students
can be readmitted only once, in case that there is room in the entrance
quota. But those punished and removed students cannot be readmitted.
▣Graduate School of Business Administration

Admission
|
|
Admission Period
|
The admission period shall be
within 30 days before the beginning of each semester.
One who applies for admission
to the Graduate School of Business Administration should be one
of the following：
1. One who has a bachelor's degree from a four-year college.
2. One who has completed a bachelor's course abroad and whose
qualifications are approved by the DAU president.
3. One who is acknowledged as having equivalent qualifications by
the Education Minister.

Admission Screening Methods
|
The screening for admission is
composed of a written examination on one's major courses and an
oral test.
Expelled or removed students
can be readmitted only once within four years, while their credits
already earned can be approved.
▣Graduate School of Education

Admission
|

Admission Period
|
The admission period shall be
within the first 30 days of every semester.
One who meets one of the following
requirements and passes the entrance examinations shall be admitted:
1. One who has earned a bachelor's degree from a four-year college.
2. One who has completed a bachelor's course abroad and whose
qualifications are approved by the DAU president.
3. One who is acknowledged as being qualified by the Education
Minister.

Admission Period
|
The time for official admission
shall be within 30 days after the beginning of each semester.
One should meet either of the
following conditions：
1. One with a bachelor's degree earned at home or abroad.
2. One with equivalent qualifications as approved by the Education
Minister.
▣Graduate School of Mass Communication

Admission
|
|
Admission Period
|
The deadline for admission or
readmission is within 30 days after the beginning of each semester.
The qualifications for the program
are one of the following：
1. A bachelor's degree from a 4-year college in Korea.
2. Completion of a bachelor's program abroad, whose qualifications
must be approved by the DAU president.
3. Other equivalent qualifications, as approved by the Education
Minister.
Students who lost the status
due to poor academic performance can be readmitted within 3 years
by the permission of the DAU president via the dean, only if there
is room in the entrance quota. Readmission is possible only when
one's major is the same before the permanent withdrawal or removal.
But those removed students by disciplinary punishment cannot be
readmitted.

2. One who has completed a bachelor's course abroad and whose
